Augustin Charnet

Virus TI2 Polar

Note: “This synth used to belong to the singer Christophe, with whom I had the chance to work for several years. His presets are still in the machine—it feels like he’s right beside me when I play it ; such a special unit to me !”

ASM Hydra Synth

Note: “A beautiful digital synth that I discovered while working with the great producer M83 in its studio in Los Angeles. Such a rich and versatile unit.”

Prophet 08

Note: “My first ever analog synth! I was deeply inspired by James Blake as a teenager, and chose this one after seeing him live. The bass are insane, pads are super gritty, I love this unit and still use it a lot.”

Nord Piano 2

Note: “My first ever digital keyboard unit. We've done hundred of shows together and now he's comfortably settled in the studio!”

Focal Twin 6 BE

Note: “Great speakers, especially coupled with the Focal Sub6. You have to work with the high-end boost true to Focal's sound, but once you're settled with it, they are solid companions.”
