1. Purpose
Skeellz is an online service that allows music professionals to create, manage and publish a professional profile, including credits, content, links, contact information and portfolio elements.
These terms govern access to the website and use of the Skeellz service. By creating an account or using the service, the user accepts these terms.
2. User account
The user must provide accurate information, keep their login credentials confidential and notify Skeellz of any unauthorized use of their account.
The service is intended for persons with the legal capacity to enter into a contract. Minors may only use Skeellz with the authorization of their legal representative.
3. Published content
The user remains the owner of the content they add to their profile. The user grants Skeellz a non-exclusive, free and worldwide license to host, reproduce, adapt, display and transmit this content strictly as needed to provide the service.
Adaptation is limited to technical processing that serves the user's profile: resizing and compressing images, removing the background of gear photos when the option is enabled, and generating share cards and previews from published content. The original files uploaded by the user are kept unchanged.
The user warrants that they hold the necessary rights to the content, images, links, credits, trademarks, artist names, excerpts or references they publish. The user must not publish unlawful, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory or infringing content, or content that violates third-party rights.
Skeellz may remove, hide or suspend access to any content that is manifestly unlawful, reported to Skeellz or likely to expose Skeellz to liability.
4. Subscription and payment
Skeellz offers a permanent Free plan with limits on what is shown publicly, and a paid Pro plan that removes those limits. The current limits are shown on the pricing page and in the Builder. Gallery photos have a universal maximum of 10 on every plan.
On the Free plan, the content that remains public is selected automatically: credits are ranked by total streams, then release date, then most recent addition, and gears and studio photos follow the order chosen by the user. Content beyond the limits stays in the user's library, is not deleted and becomes public again when the user subscribes to Pro or when the limits allow it.
When a Pro subscription ends, the profile returns to the Free plan under the same rules. Skeellz may change the Free plan limits; such a change only affects which content is shown publicly and never deletes content.
Reference prices displayed are $11.90/month or $118.80/year, excluding taxes where applicable. Final prices, taxes, currencies and payment terms are shown before payment confirmation.
Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. Skeellz does not store full payment card details.
The user may manage or cancel their subscription from the billing settings when a subscription is active. Cancellation takes effect according to the conditions shown at subscription and in the billing interface.
5. Right of withdrawal
Where the paid service is purchased by a consumer, the applicable withdrawal rules are specified at the time of order.
If the user requests immediate access to a digital service before the end of the statutory withdrawal period, the user may be asked to acknowledge that the service starts immediately and, where permitted by law, to waive the corresponding right of withdrawal.
6. Availability and liability
Skeellz uses reasonable efforts to ensure the accessibility and security of the service, without guaranteeing permanent availability or error-free operation.
The service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, technical incidents, security measures or force majeure. Skeellz is not liable for indirect damages, loss of opportunity, loss of revenue or consequences arising from improper use of the service.
7. Skeellz intellectual property
The Skeellz brand, logo, interface, texts, visuals, databases, code and service elements are protected by intellectual property law.
Any unauthorized reproduction, extraction, reuse or exploitation of these elements is prohibited without Skeellz's prior written authorization.
8. Personal data
Skeellz processes personal data to provide the service, manage accounts, publish profiles, process requests, secure the platform and administer subscriptions.
Detailed information about data categories, purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention periods and user rights is available in the privacy policy.
9. Suspension and deletion
Skeellz may suspend or delete access to the service in case of breach of these terms, fraudulent behavior, threat to service security, unpaid fees or a legitimate request from a competent authority.
The user may request deletion of their account under the terms set out in the privacy policy or via the contact address shown on this page.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law.
In case of difficulty, the user is invited to contact Skeellz first to seek an amicable solution. Failing an agreement, the dispute will be submitted to the competent courts under ordinary law.
If the user acts as a consumer, the user retains any mandatory rights provided by applicable consumer law.
