Jérôme Bossard

“Jérôme Bossard is a drummer, percussionist, vocalist, artistic director and educator based near Nantes, France. He founded the Zygos Brass Band, the performing arts company Zygomat’Hic and the music school SONIK. He holds a Maîtrise and a DEA in musicology from Université Paris 8 and is pursuing doctoral research on the role of drumming in the emergence of jazz. With more than 30 years of experience in brass band, funk, jazz and groove, his musical roots run deep in the traditions of New Orleans”
